GM, Ford Record Strong Demand in China

General Motors Co. said their sales in China rose 20 percent last month in comparison with last year.

Therefore, the auto manufacturer believes it is going to sell over 2 million cars until December. Sales by competitor Ford Motor Co. rose 33 percent.

"This is another important milestone for General Motors in China. It was only three years ago that GM became the first global automaker to reach the 1 million annual sales mark in China," Kevin Wale of the GM China Group announced.
